Large set Understanding Emotions is a complete visual aid that can be used in the targeted education of young children, as well as children with developmental disorders, including autism. These children often have difficulty reading the emotions of others or understanding/accepting their own feelings. This leads to misunderstandings and conflicts, but also to turmoil as a result of unprocessed emotions. Therefore, children need to focus on understanding and accepting their own and others’ emotions. Visualization is the best way to explain facial expressions, the underlying emotions and the appropriate reaction to them.

The large Understanding Emotions set includes a whopping 22 face-shaped plates: 13 different emotional expressions on transparent shaped foil, 3 mirror plates, 3 inch transparent foil plates and 3 inch white cardboard plates. Also included is an overview of the emotions with pictures and descriptions and a teacher’s guide (in English). The blank boards are intended for students and teachers to draw facial expressions themselves (with whiteboard markers), while the mirror boards can be used to study their own facial expressions.
