Grow your own crystal that glows

Want to grow your very own glow-in-the-dark crystal? National Geographic, the brand that has become synonymous with science, is now giving all children the opportunity to experience science up close and even actively participate in an exciting chemical process that results in the “birth” of a glow-in-the-dark crystal.

The kit contains everything you need and instructions in Danish. This way, little scientists are ready to experiment and explore the forces of nature. They get to mix the ingredients in the container and watch the progress with the included magnifying glass.

This grow-your-own crystal is a great choice for children who are curious about nature or science. However, you should know that crystal growth takes time (up to a week) – a period that can be very exciting to observe the growing crystal, but also difficult if you find it hard to wait. Under the right circumstances, crystal growing can be used as gentle patience training.
