Freestanding hideout/shelter

Freestanding hideout/shelter for children who need to be shielded from overwhelming sensory input or social interactions. Allows the child to withdraw from the company and calm down in overwhelming situations. Offering the option to withdraw, especially to children with autism and ADHD when they feel overwhelmed, enables them to participate in more activities and engage in school, daycare or domestic life on their own terms. This reduces stress levels and therefore also reduces the level of conflict.

The hideout measures 82 cm in length, 60 cm in width and is approximately 126 cm high. It is therefore best suited for preschoolers and children who have just started school. The hideout is intended for use by one to two children at a time. The screen is made of 18 mm birch chipboard and painted in a neutral white color on the outside and a fresh light green color on the roof. It comes with a comfortable seat made of two-piece soft-play cushion, coated with durable PVC. The compact design and the fact that the hideaway is easy to move around, makes it easy to fit – even in smaller rooms or temporary spaces.

ATTENTION! As the hideout/shelter is freestanding, we recommend placing it in a corner if there is a risk of children knocking it over. Please note that the hiding place is larger than you might think when looking at the picture. Therefore, it is important that you pay attention to the dimensions of the item to make sure it fits the room it will be in.
