A complete visual scheduling solution that helps you make the most of your workday. You get pictograms that cover children’s everyday life and visualization needs throughout the day. The pictograms are drawn based on the experience of the creator, a special needs educator, with what children react to – therefore the characters are drawn without hair to be gender neutral, and without mouths so that children do not identify with a certain mood or spend energy reading it. There are also no colors, as this can also be distracting. The tiles and board are designed so that the tiles are perfectly straight, so children are not disturbed by crookedly hanging pictograms. If you have visual difficulties, it is possible to order yellow tiles.

Although MyMainBoard is pre-made and ready to use, it gives you an exceptional amount of flexibility. You get 8 sheets of pictograms, printed on foil, which means they can be placed on the included tiles and on any smooth surface in your home. The pictograms are water-resistant and can therefore be placed directly on the bathroom wall, for example. They can also be taken off and put back on again and again. The tiles can also be used to set up the pictograms and to draw extra pictograms/times with a regular marker. You choose whether you want the board to hang on the long or short side and you choose how many pictograms you want and in which constellation, e.g. pictogram + time, pictogram + mood pictogram, etc.

Mood kit

As children with diagnoses typically function differently in understanding and processing danger signals and negative experiences, they often need help identifying/limiting the negative or perceived danger in order to move forward. By using MyMainBoard and the Mood Kit, the event and time can be visually placed on the chart with the red Mood tile – while the yellow and green Mood tile are placed so that the child remembers to move on.
