We deliver in a number of countries, including Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands and Iceland. You can select your country from the drop-down menu on the Checkout page and you will be shown the available delivery methods. If your country is not on the list, please contact us – we might still be able to deliver.
Freight costs
When you shop at Autismeshoppen.dk, you are offered several different delivery methods. You can choose which delivery method or carrier to use. The shipping fee is paid at checkout with your order. You cannot claim a refund if you mistakenly choose a more expensive delivery method than intended. However, we will always, to the extent possible, try to help you correct the error before the order is shipped.
The shipping price on Autismeshoppen.dk is dependent on the country we deliver to and follows the prices of the weight classes for each country, as stated by the shipping companies. You get free delivery to Danish parcel shops on orders where the order value excl. shipping exceeds DKK 1000. For purchases over DKK 5000 excl. shipping, you also get free delivery to your door (only in Denmark).
You can choose between GLS and PostNord, parcel shop or delivery to your door. Prices are as quoted by the carriers and change depending on the weight of the order.

For orders weighing more than 20 kg, it is not possible to order delivery to a parcel shop due to carrier restrictions. Instead, the item is delivered to your door with GLS/PostNord as a parcel or pallet. In the shop, it is only possible to buy items weighing up to 300 kg. If you are ordering a heavier shipment, please contact us for personalized service.
The delivery price assumes that all items in your order, including any made-to-order or pre-ordered items, are shipped together.
Delivery methods
We deliver with Post Nord and GLS. You can choose delivery to your address or delivery to a parcel shop/post office.
We reserve the right to use a delivery option other than the selected delivery option that is more suitable for your purchase and results in the same service (parcel shop or doorstep delivery) if the selected option does not suit the size or weight of the goods you have ordered. You won’t be charged extra for it.
When the goods are shipped from our warehouse, you will receive an email with your invoice. If we can’t ship all your items at the same time, you will receive an email with an invoice for each shipment of parts of your order.
Selecting a parcel shop
If you want delivery to a parcel shop/post office, you can choose where your parcel is delivered. On rare occasions, especially during the Christmas period, some parcel shops may run out of space. In that case, your package will be delivered to the nearest available parcel shop within a radius of no more than 5 km from the selected parcel shop. Unfortunately, it is not possible to ask GLS/PostNord to redeliver the package. However, we’re happy to help you find a solution that works for you if it’s not possible to pick up the parcel where it was delivered.
Delivery time
In-stock items are delivered within 2-3 business days. If the item is on backorder, it will be delivered after the availability date stated on the product page. As a rule, orders are shipped together to avoid unnecessary environmental impact, even when one or more items are on backorder. If your order is urgent, you can always contact us for fast dispatch of items in stock.
Delivery times are for guidance only. It is usually not possible for us to expedite the delivery of an order that has already left our warehouse.
If the item is in remote storage or is a made-to-order item, the delivery time depends on several factors, such as production time and delivery time from remote storage. In such cases, the expected delivery time is clearly stated on the product page. You will also receive regular status updates by email after your purchase has been completed.
When paying on a submitted invoice
If you pay for your order by invoice, we will ship your goods only after the payment has gone through.
My item is gone
This is extremely rare, but it can of course happen that your package doesn’t arrive. In such cases, you should first try to locate your package in cooperation with the carrier by using the tracking code that has been sent to you with the shipping confirmation. If it is impossible to contact the shipping company or if the tracking code is incorrect (e.g. has not been correctly registered in the system), please contact us as soon as possible by email at kundeservice@autismeshoppen.dk. If it turns out that your package has been lost in the post, you will of course get a new one sent to you. Subject to sold-out or discontinued items. If we can’t replace an item, we’ll give you a full refund.
Your responsibility
When delivering your item, it is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the package when it is delivered to your door. If the package is delivered to a parcel shop/post office, it is also your responsibility to follow the package via tracking and pick it up within the set deadline (typically 7 days). You will receive a tracking link from us in your shipping confirmation email, as well as notification from the shipping company via SMS and/or email. Re-delivery of packages that have been returned due to non-collection/receipt will incur an additional delivery fee.
It is also important that you check the packaging upon receipt. If the packaging or item is damaged, do not open the package – and if you have opened it before you discover the damage, do not throw away any parts of the packaging, even if they are broken or damaged by liquid or similar. You should take as detailed pictures of the damage as possible and contact either the carrier or us immediately and submit your complaint along with the pictures. This should be done as soon as possible and no later than 2 days after receipt. It is important that you do not open the package, move it or throw away the packaging even after you have contacted us or the carrier, as in some cases the carrier will require to either inspect or pick up the package at the address it has been delivered to. Failure to do as described here may result in limited or no right to compensation for the damaged package.
If, on the other hand, there is damage to one or more items that are not related to the transportation, you must contact us and send us pictures of the damage – just as you would for a normal complaint. In the case of a complaint, the deadline for notification is as stipulated by law.
Delivery abroad
International shipping rates are determined by the available carriers’ rates and therefore vary from country to country. To calculate the shipping price to your country, please enter your address on the Checkout page.
If your country is not on the list of countries we deliver to, please contact us. In many cases, it will be possible to accommodate requests for delivery to other countries.
If you order delivery in a country that is not a member of the EU, please note that the delivery fee includes a customs clearance fee of DKK 125, which is charged by the carrier. In addition, upon receipt, you may have to pay customs duty on the value of the goods + the delivery fee, depending on the customs regulations in your country.
